Presidents
Message
A very warm welcome to you all for this coming
season. To all new members a special welcome and trust you will make
new friends on and off the greens at Bowls Papanui. The Club has a
great reputation within The Bowling fraternity and is something to be proud
of and this will be obvious to you during your Bowling career. I
look forward to working alongside those members holding positions on the
Executive and Committees during the season. These are onerous positions
but without your tiring efforts the club would ot be able to function to
the very high standard to which it now holds in the Bowling
World. This will be an extremely busy season ahead with the New
Zealand Nationals. Then following on from that the co-hosting of World
Bowls as well as Centre fixtures and Club Championships along with club
events which will be played on our greens. To all members go with my
best wishes for good health, great fellowship, excellent bowls and a
harmonious 2007-2008 season. David Rowe
